Henrik Schliemann is an advisor and board member to various family controlled businesses globally, having previously held significant positions in the financial and banking sectors. In New Space, he has served on the board of directors and as a strategic advisor to Iridium Communications Inc. for the past two decades, a role that underscores his access to and intimate knowledge of the sector. He also serves as a member of the Independent Investment Committee of Seraphim Space Venture Fund II LLP, Europe’s most established space investment group.
Formerly, Henrik was the Managing Partner at PMB Capital, a business spun out of Edmond de Rothschild Private Merchant Banking, a joint venture he co-founded in 2013, providing advice and capital to privately held businesses and entrepreneurs. Before that, he was Co-CEO of Hawkpoint Partners, having held senior positions at Merrill Lynch and Baring Brothers after starting his career in banking at JP Morgan in 1988.
Henrik is an executive director of Philip Breuel Stiftung, a Hamburg based foundation supporting the education of children from deprived backgrounds. He received a bachelor degree in economics and finance from the University of Pennsylvania where he also served on the advisory board of the Huntsman Program.
